Our Rhode Island flags are crafted from high-quality nylon fabric, designed for durability and use in outdoor environments. The lightweight nature of nylon ensures the flag flies effortlessly, even in gentle winds, and its quick-drying characteristics help prevent mildew growth. The flag's design features Rhode Island's distinct anchor and "Hope" motto, digitally printed with UV-resistant inks to create vibrant, fade-resistant colors.

Available in a range of sizes, we carry the Rhode Island flag in our best-selling 3’ x 5’ size, as well as 12” x 18”, 2’ x 3’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, 6’ x 10’, 8’ x 12’, 10’ x 15’, and 12’ x 18’. It includes a strong canvas header and brass grommets for easy and secure attachment to your outdoor flagpole.

RI Flag Highlights:

  • Manufactured in the USA, continuing our dedication to domestic craftsmanship
  • Authentic 1897 design

Rhode Island State Flag Facts

The anchor symbol and “Hope” motto have been used on Rhode Island’s state seal as early as the 1640s. In 1897, this seal was officially adopted as part of the flag of Rhode Island, along with the addition of thirteen gold stars. These stars represent the original Thirteen Colonies of the US and Rhode Island’s history as the thirteenth state to ratify the Constitution.
