Description

“Liberty and union, now and forever, one and inseparable”

Fly the Peace Garden State flag and represent the great state of North Dakota. Each flag has a sturdy canvas header and brass grommets for quick attachment to any of our outdoor flagpoles

These flags are proudly manufactured in the United States using nylon, a lightweight and durable fabric. Nylon’s durability means it is fray-resistant and can withstand most weather conditions. Read our blog post for tips on how to take care of your flag and extend its lifespan.

The flag's design, including the state emblem and a vibrant blue background, is digitally printed onto the fabric. This process ensures sharp, precise detailing and colors that are resistant to fading, even when exposed to direct sunlight.

ND Flag Features:

  • Made in America
  • Authentic 1911 design
  • 100% high-quality nylon
  • Strong white canvas header*
  • Rust-resistant brass grommets*

*For easy installation, our flags up to 8' x 12' have a header and grommets, and for added durability, larger flags come with a rope and galvanized thimbles.

Are you planning only to display this flag indoors? Consider using our embellished North Dakota state flag, which is finished with a gold fringe and a pole sleeve.

Flag of North Dakota History

The design shown on this flag is derived from the unit banner used by the First North Dakota Infantry during the Spanish-American War in 1898 and the Philippine-American War in 1899.

The symbols are based on the Great Seal of the United States. The arrows and olive branches in the bald eagle’s talons represent the country’s simultaneous desire for peace and readiness for war. The banner held by the eagle reads “E Pluribus Unum,” the official motto of the US. It translates as “Out of many, one”.
