What can coupons apply to?

Coupon codes, for online use only, often apply to one or two categories. You can tell from the description. Sometimes there just isn't enough space to add all the terms and conditions for a coupon code, so we created this page. Coupon codes will never apply to indoor poles, guidon poles, parade pole, indoor flag display sets, residential wall-mounted flagpoles, external halyard flagpoles, internal halyard flagpoles, nautical flagpoles, commercial wall mounted flagpoles, or any custom items such as flags, blade flags, feather flags, pennants, etc. Coupon codes will never apply to shipping costs. Coupon code use is limited to one use per customer and one per order. If your coupon code lowers your cart value from over $75 to under $75, you may want to consider choosing free shipping over the coupon code.

New subscriber coupon code may only be used once per customer and is only for new customers. Misuse in any way (e.g. using different emails or similar tactics, creating fake accounts, or breaching these terms in any way) may disqualify from coupon benefits all together.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes, we proudly offer a military discount to honor the service of our brave men and women. If you're a member of the military community, including active-duty personnel and veterans, you're eligible for this special offer. We appreciate your dedication and sacrifice, and we're excited to serve those who have served our country.

What happens if I receive an incorrect or damaged item?

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, e-mail a photo to customerservice+support@flags.com within 48 hours and we will replace it. We may or may not ask you to ship it back to us at our cost, depending on the value of the item.

What happens if I don't receive an item?

Sometimes we get this question because the packaging wasn't inspected thoroughly. If you have inspected your package thoroughly, please contact us within 48 hours. We weigh each package that we ship from our warehouse down to the ounce. We will re-create your order to see if the weight of the accurate order matches the weight of the actual order we shipped to you. If the weights are different by more than ounces, we will ship you the item as soon as possible to you at our cost. Click here for more information on our return policy.

What does "made to order" mean, and how does it apply to my order?

Some items we keep in stock, like our American flags and many more. Some flags are custom flags, which require you to submit artwork and sign off on them. Made to order items are those that are rarely sold and must be made or altered differently than most. This can include flags of particularly large sizes. We also allow for modifications to be made, such as adding only a pole hem to a flag, and those are made to order flags as well. We sell many shapes and sizes of specialty flags such as: colorful flags, message blade flags, and wire markers, etc. which are not stock items. Is everything on your website made in America?

If it can be made in America, we only sell the American made option. We pride ourselves on being a one stop shop, so in order to present you with a large variety of products, we sometimes have to get those made in other countries. Rest assured we purchase the products directly from American companies so we're still supporting the American job market as best as we can.

Why is it taking to so long to receive my order after you shipped it?

If you have received an email from us saying that your order has shipped, but it seems to be taking forever to arrive, there may have been a delivery exception. The best way to know is by copying your tracking number and pasting it into a Google search. Is it really in-stock?

We can often pull inventory from any of our manufacturers and have your order drop shipped the same day. While this isn't always possible, especially due to COVID-19 and increased demands, we want to keep options open. If you're in a rush, please select expedited shipping or leave a comment during checkout. If for some reason your item is not available or will be on backorder for awhile, you will be notified via email.

Why is the flag header stamped?

According to the Flag Manufacturers Association of America, the header is not a part of the actual flag. In fact, the Federal Trade Commission mandates any flag 12" x 18" and larger have some sort of attachment to the header listing the origin of manufacturing. It is part of the business principles and practices for the flag industry to label flags to make re-ordering an easier process for customers. Disclosure of stamps are not listed on the websites of any National Independent Flag Dealer Association member, for a complaint arises once in a blue moon. Any customer choosing to forgo branded stamps on their flag's header may request so.
