Description

Celebrate the heritage of Pennsylvania with our state flags proudly produced in the United States. Each flag is crafted from durable, lightweight nylon, a material that ensures your flag will wave gracefully in even the slightest breeze. Nylon is also quick to dry and resistant to mildew, making it an excellent choice for outdoor use. The Pennsylvania state flag features a digitally printed design that boasts sharp details and vibrant, UV-resistant colors that stand up to direct sunlight.

Each Pennsylvania flag is equipped with a heavy-duty canvas header and brass grommets for securing to any of our outdoor flagpoles. If you’re not sure about the right flag size for your pole, check out our guide on flagpole heights and corresponding flag dimensions. The 3’ x 5’ nylon Pennsylvania flag size is the most popular, though we also offer it in 12” x 18”, 2’ x 3’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’ 6’ x 10’ 8’ x 12’, 10’ x 15’, and 12’ x 18’.

STATE FLAG OF PENNSYLVANIA HISTORY

Pennsylvania was the second state to enter the Union in 1787. The symbol shown in the center of Pennsylvania’s flag is the official state coat of arms. This design, also known as the Pennsylvania colony flag, was authorized by the General Assembly in 1799. Since then, the flag has only been changed once. In 1907, the General Assembly standardized the flag to make the blue background color match the blue of Old Glory.
