Description

Draw attention to your base or business by installing a 50-foot flag pole out front! This pole is manufactured in the United States out of aluminum for a sturdy, weather-resistant display. Quickly hoist and lower flags using the pole’s external halyard system.

The right finish can change the look of your flagpole. The satin base is excellent for general use in freshwater environments, while anodization is recommended for saltwater regions. Select between our clear, bronze, and black anodized options. Anodization will add additional manufacturing time to your order.

This 50’ flag pole is rated to withstand winds up to 90 mph while flags are attached and flying. Any flags should be taken down during high winds or inclement weather events, increasing the rating to 118 mph.

Each 50' External Halyard Flagpole w/ Collar Includes

  • Gold anodized aluminum ball ornament
  • Cast aluminum revolving truck
  • Solid braided polypropylene halyard
  • Swivel flag snaps with vinyl snap covers
  • Cast aluminum cleat with mounting screws
  • Spun aluminum flash collar
  • Galvanized steel foundation sleeve

How to Install this Flagpole & Necessary Materials

Take care while installing this 50 ft pole, and don’t hesitate to contact professionals in your area for assistance. View our installation guide below, which includes the tools and materials needed.

This 50-foot flagpole set does not include all necessary tools and supplies, such as concrete, sand, stone, caulking, or lock-tight.

When choosing your mounting site, we recommend avoiding overhead power lines or underground cables.

What Flag Size Should I Use for a 50-foot Pole?

For a proportional display, the length of a flag should be about one-fourth of the flagpole’s height. For a 50 ft flagpole, that would be a 10’ by 15’ flag.

Call us if you are interested in customizing this pole with a different truck, ornament, halyard, or cleat cover.

Flagpole Finishes

Satin Finish

Satin is the most common and widely specified finish in the flagpole industry. Created during the polishing process, this brushed finish provides a smooth, consistent appearance with an elegant, low-gloss sheen. Satin-finished flagpoles are low maintenance, highly resistant to corrosion, and complement virtually any architectural style.

Anodized Finishes

Standard anodized finishes include Clear, Bronze, and Black.

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates a durable aluminum oxide layer on the surface of the flagpole. This protective finish enhances durability, increases resistance to weather and environmental exposure, and provides superior corrosion protection, making it an excellent choice for coastal and other harsh environments.

Because the anodized layer becomes an integral part of the aluminum itself, it will not chip, flake, or peel like painted finishes.

Lead Time

Anodized finishes require an additional manufacturing process and typically add 6 to 8 weeks to production time. This process cannot be expedited.
