Parade Poles
We offer two different styles of parade flag poles: oak and aluminum. Our oak display pole is a classic choice, with the metal fixtures finished in your choice of chrome or brass. If you are interested in using a pole specifically designed to be lightweight, consider using our hollow aluminum pole, which is available in gold or silver finish.
For guidon bearers, view our guidon staff constructed from ash wood with metal fixtures finished in either chrome or brass.
Parade Equipment and Accessories
Make the lives of your flag bearers easier by outfitting each one with a parade flag holder! A parade belt is a great choice for carrying some of the weight of the flag and its pole, and helps the bearer maintain a secure and stable grip.
Our leather parade belt is an excellent choice, which helps create a formal appearance while simultaneously lessening the strain on the flag bearer’s arms. Choose between white, black, and russet leather to best match your procession’s display. If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, check out our webbed parade flag harness, which comes in white or black.
Don’t forget to prevent smudging on your poles, and complete your outfit with a pair of parade gloves!
Flag Transport and Weather Protection
Flags with fringe should be treated with respect and care, especially during transit to and from the parade or ceremonial site. Securely transport your flag, pole, and other hardware with our durable flag carrying case.
Are you worried about surprise showers or getting dust on your kit? Protect your flag and pole from unpredictable weather with our weatherproof rain cover. Plus, our dust cover keeps your set spotless and dust-free.
Parade Flag Etiquette
The American flag should always be treated with respect and dignity. It should never touch the ground or be dipped. When displayed in a parade with other flags, the American flag must be on the far left from the observer’s perspective.
