Description
The EC25 external halyard flagpole is one of our top-quality poles, constructed from sturdy, all-weather aluminum. This 25 ft flagpole is designed for simple hoisting, thanks to its external halyard design. We recommend installing this 25’ flagpole in front of a single or double-story building.
We offer this pole in four different finishes: satin, clear anodized, bronze anodized, and black anodized. Anodization is recommended for locations near salt water, while the weather-resistant satin finish is standard for general use. Please note that anodization, as it is a secondary process, will lengthen your flagpole’s manufacturing time.
This 25-foot flag pole kit includes a galvanized steel sleeve for secure mounting. A spun aluminum flash collar sits atop the sleeve to keep water out and protect your pole’s base.
The set comes with flag snaps and vinyl covers, making attaching flags to the halyard easy. The halyard and flag are kept in place with a rotating aluminum truck at the top of the flagpole. The rotation lets your flag catch the wind correctly without folding or tearing. At the very top of the flagpole is a gold-colored anodized aluminum ball ornament for a classic look.
This flagpole is wind-rated, meaning that it can withstand gusts up to 120 mph while flags are attached. When flags are removed, the pole can withstand impressive 250 mph winds.

Flagpole Parts Explained
- This 25 ft flag pole is capped with a decorative ball, which screws into the cast aluminum truck
- The truck holds the pulley system for the halyard rope in place
- The halyard is the rope upon which the flag attaches by using the flag snaps
- Tie the halyard rope around the aluminum cleat on the flagpole’s body to safely secure your flag and raise or lower it
- The galvanized steel foundation sleeve goes into the ground and firmly holds your flagpole in place
- The hole into which the flagpole is mounted is covered to keep water out by the spun aluminum flash collar
How to Install this Flagpole & Necessary Materials
Properly and safely mounting an exterior flagpole is not simple! Please view our flagpole mounting instructions below for a detailed step-by-step guide and a complete list of necessary materials and tools.
This flagpole set does not include necessary tools and supplies, including concrete, sand, stone, caulking, and lock-tight.
A foundation hole three to four times wider than the butt diameter of the flagpole (which is 6”) is mandatory. The depth of the hole must be 10% of the pole’s height (2.5 feet). Ensure your space is large enough to accommodate this flagpole.
We do NOT recommend installing a flagpole near overhead power lines or buried cables. Ensure your mounting area is clear for use.
What Size Flag Should I Use for a 25-foot Pole?
A general rule for flag sizes is to use a flag with a length of about one-quarter of the flagpole’s height. For a 25’ pole, a 4’ by 6’ flag looks best.
