Our Missouri flags are manufactured in the United States using premium nylon fabric. Nylon is a lightweight, durable material ideal for outdoor displays. Nylon’s lightness also means it can fly regally in mild winds and dry quickly after getting wet, helping prevent mildew growth and prolonging your flag’s lifespan. Each flag is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for bold, bright colors and precise details.
The state of Missouri flag is available in a wide range of sizes, from the tiny 12” x 18” up to the gigantic 12’ x 18’. We also offer the most common flag size of 3’ x 5’, which is an excellent match for our best-selling 6’ house-mounted pole.
These flags come equipped with a strong canvas header and two brass grommets for easy installation on any of our outdoor flagpoles. Flags that measure 8’ x 12’ or larger are instead finished with nylon rope and thimbles for added security.

Missouri Flag Meaning & History
Missouri did not have a state flag for almost a century after joining the Union. In 1908, the wife of Senator Robert Burett Oliver, Mrs. Marie Elizabeth Oliver, designed the state flag of Missouri. After several years and multiple attempts at passing a bill, the design was adopted as the state flag in 1913.
Oliver’s design embraces national pride while still representing the people of Missouri. The blue stripe symbolizes vigilance and justice. The red represents valor, and the blue stands for purity. The Missouri coat of arms is in the center because Missouri is geographically in the center of the United States.
