Our Thai flags are made in the United States from premium nylon fabric, a lightweight material that flies regally even in gentle breezes. Nylon is also a quick-drying material, which helps prevent mildew buildup after rain and high humidity. The classic five-stripe design is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for bold, vibrant colors that resist fading.
Each Thailand flag comes equipped with a reinforced canvas header and two brass grommets for simple attachment to any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer this flag in the sizes 12" x 18", 2' x 3', 3' x 5', 4' x 6', 5' x 8', and 6' x 10' to suit a range of needs and display setups. The 3’ x 5’ size is our most popular option, and a great fit for our house-mounted tangle-free flagpole.

Thailand Flag Meaning & History
One of Thailand’s earliest national flags was a red banner that depicted a white elephant, adopted in 1855. In 1916, King Rama VI created a new flag with five alternating red and white horizontal stripes. According to legend, the King had seen the traditional elephant flag hanging upside down during a flood and decided to replace it with a symmetrical design.
The center stripe, which measures one-third of the flag’s height, was changed from red to blue on September 28, 1917. The dark blue color was chosen in honor of King Rama VI, as blue was regarded as the auspicious color of Saturday, the day on which the King was born. The design was standardized in 2017.
The three colors of the Thai flag all have a specific meaning. Red symbolizes the nation and its people, white stands for religion, and blue represents the monarchy. This reflects the national motto of “Nation, Religion, King,” shared with Cambodia.
