Description

Our Uzbekistan flags are produced in the US from nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies regally, even in gentle breezes. The tricolor, crescent, and stars are digitally printed for accuracy and bold, vivid colors. These flags are printed with UV-resistant inks, helping prevent sun damage.

Each flag comes equipped with a durable canvas header and brass grommets for simple attachment to one of our outdoor flagpoles. We offer Uzbek flags in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. The 3’ x 5’ flag is our most popular size and fits great on our 6’ tangle-free flagpole.

Uzbekistan Flag Meaning & History

The modern flag of Uzbekistan was adopted on November 18, 1991, following its declaration of independence from the USSR. A nationwide competition was held, and over 200 entries were submitted.

The azure blue stripe represents the sky, water, and the Turkic people. The white stripe stands for peace and luck, while the green is for nature and harvest. The red lines between the stripes symbolize life.

The white crescent is a traditional Uzbek symbol and represents the beginning of a new country. The stars next to the crescent are inspired by the Uzbek calendar and symbolize spirituality.
