Description

Show off your Antigua & Barbuda pride with our durable, fray-resistant flag, which is ideal for display outside homes and businesses.

Our flag of Antigua and Barbuda is made in the United States from high-quality nylon, chosen for its strength and weather resistance. Nylon is a quick-drying fabric, helping prevent mildew growth after rain. The design is digitally printed for rich, vibrant colors that are fade-resistant, even when flown under direct sunlight.

Each flag comes equipped with a sturdy canvas header and brass grommets for secure flying on any of our outdoor flagpoles. Our most popular size is 3’ by 5’, an excellent fit for our 6’ free-spinning house-mounted flagpole.

Antigua and Barbuda Flag Meaning & History

The flag of Antigua and Barbuda was formally recognized on February 27, 1967, in commemoration of self-government for the islands. This winning design by Sir Reginald Samuel was chosen out of a competition with over 600 submissions.

Each color has special significance: Black celebrates the African ancestry of the local population, blue symbolizes hope, and red conveys the spirit of the people. The rising sun represents the dawning of a new era, under which the stripes of blue and white depict the seas and coasts of the Caribbean islands.
