Description
This flag of the Falkland Islands is constructed in the United States using nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies easily, even in gentle breezes. Nylon is also a quick-drying material that helps prevent mildew growth after contact with water. The Union Jack and coat of arms are digitally printed for intricate details and UV-resistant colors.
Each flag has a sturdy canvas header and brass grommets for secure attachment to an outdoor flagpole. We offer this flag in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. The 3’ x 5’ sized flag is the most popular among our customers and fits well on our 6’ tangle-free house-mounted pole.

Falkland Islands Flag Meaning & History
The modern design of the Falkland Islands’ flag was adopted in 1948 and updated in 1999. It consists of the British Blue Ensign, a flag commonly used by British overseas territories and the regional coat of arms.
The coat of arms features a sheep on grass, representing the islands’ history of sheep farming, above a sailing ship. The ship references the Desire, the first British ship to sight the islands.
