Description

Our Guinea flag is ideal for flying outside homes, schools, businesses, and government buildings. Each flag is constructed in the United States using nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies easily in gentle breezes. The tricolor is digitally printed for vivid, bold colors that are fade-resistant, even when flown in direct sunlight.

These Guinea flags come with a robust canvas heading and brass grommets for straightforward mounting on any of our outdoor flagpoles. We offer this flag in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Our bestselling 3’ x 5’ Guinea flag is an excellent fit for our 6’ tangle-free pole.

Guinea Flag Features:

  • Proudly manufactured in the USA
  • Official 1958 design
  • 100% high-quality nylon
  • Reinforced canvas heading
  • Rust-resistant brass grommets

Interested in the ceremonial version? Our indoor Guinea flag comes adorned with gold fringe and a pole sleeve.

Guinea Flag Meaning & History

The national flag of Guinea was adopted on November 10, 1958, the same day the country published its first Constitution. The chosen colors are based on those used by the Rassemblement Démocratique Africain, a political party working towards decolonization.

The colors red, yellow, and green are commonly used to represent Pan-Africanism, though each has a specific meaning as well. The red stripe is for labor, progress, and the blood of those who died fighting against colonialism. Yellow symbolizes gold, a national industry, and the sun. Green represents the country’s natural resources and countryside.
