Pledge to the Christian Flag
Lynn Harold Hough, a Methodist minister, first wrote the Christian flag pledge. The pledge is as follows:
"I pledge allegiance to the Christian flag and to the Saviour for whose kingdom it stands; one brotherhood, uniting all mankind in service and in love."
How Do You Display the Christian Flag Indoors?
Christian flags with fringe are most often displayed inside a church. If it is the only flag on display, it should be at floor level at the congregation's far right. If you plan to mount the Christian banner on a choir loft, chancel, or communion railing, it should be on the far right of the clergy or choir. The flag should always face the congregation. The Christian flag and the American flag can be displayed simultaneously. However, they should be at the same level, the same size, and placed on opposite sides of the sanctuary.
