Description
Celebrate all you love about the great Commonwealth of Kentucky with this American-made Kentucky state flag!
This authentic Kentucky flag is made of durable and weather-resistant nylon. Thanks to its lightweight construction, your new flag will fly gracefully with the slightest breeze. The flag’s fabric is also quick-drying, which helps prevent mildew growth and water damage from rain.
The design of our Kentucky flags is digitally printed to ensure a high level of detail in the central emblem and bold colors, making it easily recognizable at a distance. The colors are UV-resistant, helping minimize fading from direct sunlight.
Our flag of Kentucky is available in sizes ranging from 12” x 18” to 12’ x 18’, including our best-selling 3’ x 5’ sized flag. A sturdy canvas header and brass grommets ensure that attaching your new flag to an outdoor flagpole will be a simple process.

KY State Flag History & Meaning
The Commonwealth of Kentucky became the 15th state to join the United States in 1792; however, the official Kentucky state flag wouldn’t be finalized until 1963. The chosen flag design was drawn by art teacher Jesse Cox Burgess and adopted in 1918 by the Kentucky legislature.
In the middle of Kentucky’s flag is the state seal, which artist and local politician Nan Gorman created. The people shown on the seal are said to represent the famous frontiersman Daniel Boone, who was responsible for most of the exploration of Kentucky’s territory, and Henry Clay, Kentucky’s most famous politician. The seal also includes the state motto: "United we stand, divided we fall." Sprigs of goldenrod, the state flower, are shown beneath the state seal to symbolize the tie between Kentucky’s government and nature.
