Description
This flag of Montserrat is manufactured in the USA from nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies regally, even in gentle breezes. The British blue ensign and coat of arms are digitally printed for an accurate, clear design. These flags are printed using fade-resistant inks, which help minimize sun damage, even when flown in direct sunlight.
Our flags have a strong canvas header and brass grommets for easy attachment to an outdoor flagpole. We offer the Montserrat flag in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. View our table of common pole heights and our recommended flag size for each if you aren’t sure which option to choose.

Montserrat Flag Meaning & History
The first version of Montserrat’s flag was designed in 1956 and combined the island’s coat of arms with the British blue ensign. This flag was officially adopted in 1960 as the national flag when the island gained self-governance within the British Empire. The flag was later modified in 1999 to increase the coat of arms and remove the white circle behind it.
The coat of arms depicts Erin, which is the personification of Ireland. She is holding a Celtic harp to represent the heritage of many of the island’s citizens. Erin stands next to a large cross, symbolizing the nation’s majority religion of Christianity.
