Our National Security Agency flag is proudly made in the United States from nylon, a durable and weather-resistant fabric ideal for outdoor display. The nylon used in our flags is lightweight, allowing it to fly easily in mild winds and dry quickly after becoming wet. The agency’s seal is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for bright colors that resist fading, even when flown in direct sunlight.
The NSA flag comes equipped with a sturdy canvas heading and two brass grommets for simple installation on any of our outdoor flagpoles. We offer this flag in two different sizes: 3’ by 5’ and 4’ by 6’. To determine which size best suits your setup, refer to our table of standard pole heights and their matching flag size.

National Security Agency Flag Meaning & History
The National Security Agency flag depicts the department’s official seal, which was designed by Richard Nachman and adopted in September 1966.
The seal features a bald eagle with an American flag shield on its chest, inspired by the Great Seal of the US. In the eagle’s talons is a large key, which represents security and the mission of the NSA.
