Description

Proudly fly the Ocean State colors with our state flag of Rhode Island!

Our Rhode Island flags are manufactured in the USA from high-quality nylon fabric, designed for durability and use in outdoor environments. The lightweight nature of nylon ensures the flag flies effortlessly, even in gentle winds, and its quick-drying properties help prevent mildew. The flag's distinctive anchor design is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks, creating vibrant colors that resist fading from sun exposure.

Our Rhode Island flags, sized 6’ by 10’ or smaller, are equipped with a strong canvas header and brass grommets for easy, secure attachment to your outdoor flagpole. Flags that measure 8’ by 12’ or larger are finished with nylon rope and thimbles for added security during heavy-duty flying.

Rhode Island Flag Features

  • Made in the United States
  • Authentic 1897 design
  • 100% pure nylon
  • Sturdy white canvas header
  • Rust-resistant brass grommets

8’ x 12’ and Up-Sized RI Flags

To extend your flag's lifespan, we recommend lowering it during inclement weather. Read our blog post for more tips on how to take care of your state flag of RI.

Rhode Island Flag Meaning & History

The anchor symbol and “Hope” motto have been used on Rhode Island’s state seal as early as the 1640s. In 1897, this seal was officially adopted as part of the flag of Rhode Island, along with the addition of thirteen gold stars. These stars represent the original Thirteen Colonies of the US and Rhode Island’s history as the thirteenth state to ratify the Constitution.
