Description

Our Republic of Serbia flag is manufactured in America using 100% nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies regally, even in gentle breezes. Nylon is also a quick-drying material, which helps prevent mildew growth after rain and high humidity. The tricolor and national lesser coat of arms are digitally printed for intricate details and bright, vibrant colors.

These flags come equipped with a sturdy canvas heading and brass grommets for reliable flying from any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer the Serbian flag in sizes 12” x 18”, 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. The 3’ x 5’ flag is a bestseller among our customers and is an excellent fit for our 6’ tangle-free flagpole.

Note: The 12” x 18” size is the civil flag and does not include the coat of arms.

Serbian Flag Meaning & History

Serbia has used multiple flags since the 13th century, most of which featured an eagle and the colors red, white, or blue. The first time the red, blue, and white tricolor appeared was in 1835, when it was written into a new constitution. This design would be used continuously until the modern day, with the addition of a coat of arms or a star. The last update was on November 11, 2010, when the coat of arms was redesigned.

Red, blue, and white are historical Serbian colors and are also associated with Pan-Slavism. It does not show the entire national coat of arms but rather the ‘lesser’ part, which doesn’t include the second crown and royal robes. The double-headed eagle has been a symbol of Serbia since the 12th century.
