This flag of the Seychelles is produced in America using fray-resistant nylon, a durable fabric built for outdoor flying. The blue, yellow, red, white, and green rays are digitally printed for clarity and vibrant colors, even when flown in direct sunlight.

Each flag has a robust canvas header and brass grommets for easy attachment to any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer the Seychelles flag in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Look at our table of flagpole heights and their matching flag size to determine which option best suits your space. The length of a flag should generally be about a quarter of the pole’s height.

Seychelles Flag Meaning

Seychelles adopted its first national flag in 1976 after gaining independence from the British Empire. This flag comprised four blue and red triangles separated by a white saltire. It was replaced in 1977 with a red and green flag, with a white wavy line in between the two fields. The modern design was adopted on January 8, 1996, at the request of several political parties.

The direction of the flag’s rays represents movement and progress. The blue ray symbolizes the sky and sea, while the yellow is for the sun. Red stands for determination and love, white for justice and harmony, and green for the natural environment.
