Internal flagpoles help keep your flag secure by preventing unauthorized access to the winching mechanism and other flag-raising components. Plus, the internal steel cable won’t get caught or tangled on nearby objects as an external rope halyard could. Another benefit of choosing an internal system over an external one is reduced noise, as it eliminates the banging of flag snaps against the pole on windy days.
Several options are available for controlling access to the winch, such as a classic lock-and-key or M-winch. An M-winch system features a removable handle, meaning the handle must be installed in order to raise or lower the flag. The M-winch is a great low-maintenance choice as it doesn’t require regular lubrication.
Our aluminum poles are available in four different finishes, including satin, and clear, bronze, or black anodization. Consider choosing an anodized finish if the flagpole will be installed in a saltwater environment to help protect against oxidation.
A 35-foot flagpole is a great choice for displays outside two- to three-story buildings. If you aren’t sure which height is best for your location, choose a flagpole that is just slightly taller than the roofline of surrounding buildings.
Note that freight charges apply to shipping these flagpoles. Please contact us for a quote, or we will provide one after you place your order.
