Description
This flag of the United Arab Emirates is manufactured in America from nylon, a durable and lightweight fabric that dries quickly, helping prevent mildew growth after rainy weather. The flag’s stripes are digitally printed in bold, vibrant colors that are fade-resistant, even when flown in direct sunlight.
Each flag comes equipped with a sturdy canvas header and brass grommets for reliable flying from any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer UAE flags in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Refer to our table of common pole heights and their proportional flag size to determine which option best suits your needs.

UAE Flag Meaning & History
The flag of the UAE was adopted on December 2, 1971, following a nationwide design competition. Abdulla Mohammed Al Ma’enah, who was 19 at the time, created the winning entry.
Green, white, black, and red are all common Pan-Arab colors. Each color has a specific meaning derived from a 14th-century poem written by Safi al-Din al-Hilli. Green represents the land, white is for the nation’s actions, black is for war, and red symbolizes swords and weaponry.
