Description
Our flag of Benin is constructed from high-quality nylon, a lightweight material that flies easily in gentle breezes. Nylon’s lightness also means that this flag dries quickly after rain, which helps prevent mildew growth. The flag’s bold colors are digitally printed for a fade-resistant design, even if flown under direct sunlight.
These flags are available in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Each one comes with a strong canvas header and brass grommets for easy attachment to one of our outdoor flagpoles. Refer to our table of pole heights and their recommended flag size to help you decide which option is right for you.

Benin Flag Meaning & History
The flag of Benin was initially adopted in 1959, replacing the French tricolor in the process of gaining independence from France. This design was replaced in 1975 and re-instated in 1990.
The green field represents hope and democracy, the red symbolizes the courage of the people’s ancestors, and the yellow stands for the natural resources and wealth of the nation. Green, red, and yellow are also colors closely associated with Pan-Africanism.
