The Border Patrol flag is made in the United States using nylon, a durable, fray-resistant material designed for outdoor flying. The nylon used in our flags is lightweight, allowing it to fly easily in gentle breezes and dry quickly after becoming wet, which helps prevent mildew growth and prolongs your flag’s lifespan. The agency’s emblem is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for bright colors that resist fading, even when flown in direct sunlight.
A sturdy canvas header and two brass grommets provide reliable attachment to any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer Border Patrol flags in the sizes 3’ by 5’ and 4’ by 6’. To determine which size best suits your flag display setup, refer to our table of common pole heights and their recommended flag size pairings.

Border Patrol Flag Meaning
The Border Patrol flag displays the agency’s seal in the center of a dark green field. The main element of the gold and blue seal is a simplified map of the continental United States, with the agency’s name on top. Surrounding the map is a circle of 23 gold stars, the number of subdivisions within the Border Patrol’s department. At the bottom is the date “May 28, 1924”, in reference to the day on which the Border Patrol was founded.
