Description

Outfit your regional branch of the Department of State with a premium flag bearing the agency’s official seal.

An authorized government purchase order is necessary to buy this flag. We are a proud supplier of flags and related products to the US Government under CAGE Code 1RQN6 and DUNS #80-318-6824. Reach out to our customer support team at [email protected] to process the shipment of your order. Allow 2-3 weeks for the production of this made-to-order flag.

The DOS flag is manufactured in the USA from nylon, a lightweight and weather-resistant material designed for outdoor use. The lightness of nylon means it can fly easily in gentle breezes and dries quickly after becoming wet from rain, helping to prevent mildew growth. The central seal is digitally printed with UV-resistant inks for precise details and vibrant colors that resist fading.

Each Department of State flag is finished with a strong canvas heading and two brass grommets for easy installation on one of our outdoor flagpoles. We offer this flag in the standard sizes 3’ by 5’ and 4’ by 6’. If you’re unsure which option best suits your setup, refer to our table of common pole heights and their corresponding flag sizes

Department of State Flag Meaning

The flag of the Department of State is based on the Great Seal of the United States. The seal depicts a bald eagle with an American flag shield on its chest, holding an olive branch and some arrows in its talons. The number of leaves on the branch and the number of arrows are both 13, representing the original 13 colonies of the US. Above the eagle is a circle with 13 white stars, which also refer to the colonies.
