We offer Luxembourg flags in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Check out our table of common flagpole heights and their matching proportional flag size for assistance.

Luxembourg Flag Meaning & History

In the 1830s, Luxembourgish citizens began to fly the colors of red, white, and blue during the Belgian Revolution. These colors were drawn from Luxembourg’s coat of arms when it was a province in the Holy Roman Empire. The flag’s tricolor design was set in 1848, but it would not be officially adopted by the government until 1993.

Luxembourg vs Netherlands Flag

Luxembourg’s flag is very similar to that of the Netherlands, but it differs in two aspects. The Luxembourg flag has an aspect ratio of 3:5 and uses bright shades of red and blue. The flag of the Netherlands has a ratio of 2:3 and features much darker red and blue stripes.
