Description

Our Republic of Paraguay flag is constructed in the USA from nylon, a weather-resistant fabric designed for outdoor flying. Nylon is lightweight and dries quickly after rain, helping prevent mildew growth. The tricolor and national coat of arms are digitally printed for precision and vivid, fade-resistant colors.

Each flag is equipped with a robust canvas header and brass grommets for straightforward installation on any of our outdoor flagpoles. We offer the Paraguay flag in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. The 3’ x 5’ is our bestselling option and is an excellent fit for our 6’ tangle-free flagpole.

Paraguay Flag Features:

  • Manufactured in America with high standards of quality
  • Official 2013 obverse design
  • 100% pure nylon
  • Reinforced canvas heading
  • Brass grommets for reliable mounting

Note: This flag has a single-reverse design with a mirrored coat of arms on the back.

Paraguay Flag Meaning & History

The Paraguayan flag was first adopted in 1842 when the country’s independence from the Spanish Empire was recognized. The flag’s design has remained largely the same, with a few modifications throughout the centuries, such as different aspect ratios and changes to the coat of arms. The most recent version was adopted on July 15, 2013.

The red, white, and blue tricolor design is based on the French flag, symbolizing liberty and independence. The national coat of arms displays a yellow star surrounded by palm and olive branches, representing victory and peace.
