Description

O Canada! Celebrate the culture, nature, and history that makes Canada unique with a high-quality Canadian Flag. The Maple Leaf flag is one of the most recognizable flags in the world, featuring the iconic red maple leaf emblazoned on a red and white background.

Our American-made Canada flag is constructed from high-quality nylon, creating a durable, fray-resistant flag. Nylon is a quick-drying fabric, which helps prevent mildew growth after rain and snow. The classic red and white design is digitally printed for vibrant, UV-resistant colors.

We offer Canada flags in several sizes: 12” x 18’, 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Our most popular size is 3’ x 5’ or 91 cm x 152 cm if you’re using the metric system. Each flag is equipped with a sturdy canvas heading and brass grommets for secure flying on an outdoor flagpole. For assistance in choosing the right size for your needs, refer to our table of flag sizes and corresponding flagpole heights.

Canada Flag Meaning & History

The design of Canada’s flag was the brainchild of Jacques Saint-Cyr of Quebec and George Stanley of Alberta. They wanted to bring together the pattern of the French flag and the colors of the English flag. The leaf on Canada’s flag is a maple leaf, representing a common tree in Eastern Canada that was first used by Indigenous peoples for its sap.

The national colors of red and white were set in 1921, and the current flag design was adopted on February 15th, 1965, which is now the inaugural National Flag Day of Canada. This design is also the first official national flag of Canada, following the use of the Union Jack.
