Description
Celebrate the country of Honduras by flying the national flag outside your home or business!
These Honduras flags are made in the United States using 100% nylon fabric, which is both lightweight and weather-resistant. Nylon’s lightness allows it to fly easily in gentle breezes, and dries quickly after rain to help prevent mildew growth. Our flags feature UV-resistant inks added using advanced digital printing technology for precision and bright colors that resist fading.
The flag of Honduras comes equipped with a robust canvas header and brass grommets for easy attachment to any outdoor flagpole. We offer this flag in sizes 12” x 18”, 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Refer to our table of standard flagpole heights and their matching proportional flag size to help determine which option best suits your needs. The 3’ by 5’ Honduras flag is our most popular option and fits great on our house-mounted flagpole.

Honduras Flag Meaning & History
The history of the Honduras flag is tied very closely to the nation's history. In 1823, after declaring independence from Spanish control, several Central American countries formed a democratic republic called the United Provinces of Central America, under a triband flag of blue, white, and blue. These provinces were El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Honduras. In 1838, the union dissolved, and the provinces became sovereign nations, yet Honduras kept the original flag design as a national symbol.
On March 7, 1866, five blue stars were added to the white stripe on the flag of Honduras to represent the five original provinces. Today, it is said that the two blue stripes represent the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea and that the white band symbolizes the land and prosperity of the Honduran people.
