Description

Honor the Beehive State with the newly designed, premium Utah state flag! A symbol of Utah's rich history and majestic landscapes, this flag is a great choice for displaying Utah pride at your home, business, or public space.

Crafted from high-quality nylon, our flag of Utah is designed for durable outdoor flying. The lightweight nature of nylon ensures that the flag flies effortlessly in even the gentlest of winds, while its quick-drying feature helps prevent mildew buildup. The flag’s vibrant colors are digitally printed to create a fade-resistant design.

Each Utah state flag is outfitted with a sturdy canvas header and brass grommets for easy and secure attachment to any of our outdoor flagpoles. These flags are available in sizes 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 6’, and 5’ x 8’. For more options, contact us for a custom flag quote.

UT Flag Highlights:

  • Proudly made in the USA, reflecting our commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Official 2024 design
  • 100% nylon fabric
  • Reinforced white canvas header*
  • Rust-resistant brass grommets*

*Flags 8' x 12' and larger use a heavy-duty rope and galvanized thimbles for the added strength needed on larger flags. Flags smaller than that size are equipped with a canvas header and grommets.

To maximize the lifespan of your flag, we recommend lowering it during extreme weather conditions. Read our blog post on flag care for more information.

We offer the Utah flag finished with ceremonial gold fringe and a pole sleeve to set up a formal indoor display.

HISTORY & MEANING OF THE UTAH FLAG

On March 21, 2023, Utahn Governor Spencer Cox signed into law that Utah’s state flag would change on March 9, 2024. The new design results from a competition held by the state, encouraging submissions by the public. This flag retains the familiar symbol of the beehive, representing Utahns' work ethic, with the addition of a five-pointed star to symbolize statehood. The shape of the colors in the background mimics Utah’s natural landscapes, depicting white mountains below a blue sky, with the red, rocky ground underneath.
