Description

Our flag of Venezuela is ideal for flying outside homes, businesses, government buildings, and diplomatic spaces. Each flag is manufactured in the USA from nylon, a lightweight fabric that flies regally, even in gentle breezes. The tricolor, stars, and national coat of arms are digitally printed for bold, vivid colors.

These flags feature a durable canvas header and brass grommets for reliable mounting on any standard outdoor flagpole. We offer Venezuelan flags in sizes 12” x 18”, 2’ x 3’, 3’ x 5’, 4’ x 5’, 5’ x 8’, and 6’ x 10’. Refer to our table of pole heights and their matching flag size for assistance.

Note: The 12” x 18” flag only uses the tricolor design and does not include the stars or coat of arms.

Venezuela Flag Meaning & History

The Venezuelan flag is based on a tricolor designed by Francisco de Miranda in the early 19th century. This tricolor would later form the basis of the flag of Gran Colombia, which split into the modern countries of Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, and Venezuela. Venezuela’s flag features eight white stars and was adopted on March 12, 1896. We offer the official government flag, which includes the national coat of arms in the upper left corner.

The yellow stripe represents the land and agriculture, the blue is for the Caribbean Sea, and the red symbolizes the fight for independence from Spain. The flag initially had seven stars for each national province, with the eighth added after the inclusion of Guyana.
